LASSA Backpack Fundraiser
Each year, The Lebanese and Arab Social Services Agency continuously strives to assist immigrant youth, who are newly arrived to Canada through our many programs.
Last year, our successful backpack initiative proved to help the many struggling families and their young children. We continue to work diligently to help make a difference in the lives of people who are most in need for such a donation.
LASSA is asking for your help in donating a backpack filled with school supplies and LASSA hopes it can count on you once again to assist in making this campaign a successful one. We thank you in advance for your generous contribution and look forward to your cooperation. We will be distributing these backpacks during the last week of August, 2007. Backpacks must be suitable for students from age 5 to age 18. They should also include all the basic school supplies such as: paper, pencils, pens, rulers, erasers, calculators, glue sticks, geometry sets, pencil crayons, crayons, pencil cases/containers etc.
