LASSA is a settlement and social services agency that strives to provide the highest quality services to facilitate and expedite the settlement and integration of new Canadians in general and Arabic-speaking ones in particular.
Services Offered:
ISAP- Immigration Settlement Adaptation Program
This program aims at offering basic services for newcomers to smoothly settle in their new country. These services include:
- Guidance and orientation consultations
- Interpretation and translation
- Non-political advocacy and referral to the appropriate resources
- Access to employment services
- Accreditation from the appropriate academic
institutions - Immigration / settlement issues
- Housing
- Social and cultural events
