About LASSA

Lebanese and Arab Social Services Agency (LASSA) is a non-profit charitable organization, committed to meeting the needs of new immigrants. This assistance is provided through various creative programs available and delivered in three languages by qualified officers and various locations.

Mission Statement:
LASSA is a settlement and social services agency that strives to provide the highest quality services to facilitate and expedite the settlement and integration of new Canadians in general and Arabic-speaking ones in particular.

Services Offered:

ISAP- Immigration Settlement Adaptation Program
This program aims at offering basic services for newcomers to smoothly settle in their new country. These services include:

  • Guidance and orientation consultations
  • Interpretation and translation
  • Non-political advocacy and referral to the appropriate resources
  • Access to employment services
  • Accreditation from the appropriate academic
    institutions
  • Immigration / settlement issues
  • Housing
  • Social and cultural events
